    By air: The closest airport to Ostrava is the Leoš Janáček Ostrava Airport (OSR), which offers direct flights to a number of European cities. From the airport, visitors can take a taxi or bus to the city center.

    By train: Ostrava is well-connected by train to other cities in the Czech Republic and neighboring countries. The city has three main train stations: Ostrava-Svinov, Ostrava hlavní nádraží, and Ostrava-Stodolní.

    By car: Ostrava is easily accessible by car via the Czech highway network, as well as major highways in neighboring Poland and Slovakia.

    Public transportation: Ostrava has a well-developed public transportation system, including trams, buses, and trolleybuses. Visitors can purchase tickets at kiosks, vending machines, on board the vehicle (tap and ride). There are also several types of tourist passes available, depending on the length of your stay and how frequently you plan to use public transportation.     Walking and cycling: Ostrava is a relatively compact city, and many of its major sights and attractions can be easily reached on foot or by bike. The city has several bike rental stations, and there are also several designated bike routes throughout the city.
